Curacorn®

As skin thins with age, heavy use, and/or bony prominence’s, pressure builds up, leading to the formation of recurring corns and callus. Curacorn places a specialised cushioning gel beneath the skin to redistribute pressure from the inside, reducing pain and the frequency of repeat debridement. It's a minimally invasive, targeted option for patients who find corns keep returning despite good footwear and routine care.

At a prior Routine Podiatry visit we'll remove existing hard skin, check suitability, and plan the treatment sites. The procedure is brief, and requires you to be not weight bearing for 24hrs on that area. Results can be long-lasting, but vary by activity level, footwear, and anatomy. We'll cover aftercare and when a top-up might be helpful. This treatment is not a suitable option for everyone so prior assessment in a routine appointment is required.
